About Subtle Photo – Vancouver Wedding Photographer
I am Tom Dudas – Creative Director behind Subtle Photography. I live with my wife and boys in Richmond BC. Having been in the wedding industry for years—first as a DJ, now as a photographer—I know how to blend into your day seamlessly while capturing every real emotion. My personality is service focused and I live and die to bring joy to people’s lives.
Photography is the confluence of art and science.
My technical background and acumen assists me delivering stunning artwork for my clients to enjoy for generations. I am proud of the glowing reviews the team has received which echoes our customer first ideology.
I am very comfortable in front of crowds, getting people to loosen up and laugh out loud! Keep in mind, my camera is focused on candid, emotional moments!
Yes, we always deliver a professional, timeless photo gallery with natural skin tones but what is different with me is that my ideal clients are free spirited and love to laugh. If you are looking for heavily posed, dark and dreary wedding photos, we are probably not the team for you. However, If you are looking for a charismatic, professional team, please get in touch!

Starting from your initial inquiry to chatting on text then jumping on a phone or zoom call. I’ll use my experience to guide you through the process so you will be put at ease so you can focus on other parts of your wedding experience.
I have a knack for bringing out the laughter and joy in people. Maybe it’s my fluency in sarcasm or my fun, natural posing techniques.
To ensure we are all on the same page, we will fill out a wedding day questionnaire outlining the itinerary and expectations; nothing will be left to chance. The Monday before your event, I’ll set up a text chat group with us and other vendors like the videographer and the wedding planner.
